The Venue:
Bodhi Khaya Retreat Center near Gansbaai, Walker Bay.
This area is world reknowned for its land-based whale watching, when every July through to November the Southern Right Whales settle in the bay to give birth. The cliffs along the shore allow for raised viewing of the whales when they come close to land. This intimate access to them and their energy is truly sacred.
Bodhi Khaya is a tranquil natural environment where guests can explore possibility. It is surrounded by the Walker Bay Conservancy which aims to protect the flora and fauna of the Cape Floral Kingdom, so walks amongst the fynbos is a must! The old farmhouse which holds the Dining Room and Reading Room, as well as a few en suite bedrooms, it unique and cosy with loads of character! The Labyrinth, infused with scents of Lavender and Babies Breath, will help ground your energy and will allow quiet time for introspection.
In the course of the Retreat you will be able to connect with the Cetaceans through Meditations and Activations, participate in group activities which will include movement and sound and take part in planned excursions in the area.
